Took my PMP Certification test yesterday and I am happy and relieved to say I passed. The scoring criterion has three levels, Proficient, Moderately Proficient, and Below Proficient. I have no idea what those relate to percentage score-wise (sure I could Google it, but really I don’t care) and you have to get a least Moderately Proficient on three of five sections. That score means you have the average amount of knowledge required to perform project management. I scored 4 Moderates and 1 Below, basically average. All of those scores are meaningless; the only thing that matters was the four letter word at the top of the page: PASS.
Now I have to figure out what to do with it….I figure between this Cert and my MBA it should be worth a cup of coffee somewhere, right??
